There is increasing recognition that personalized approaches may be effective in helping people establish healthier eating patterns and exercise more, and that this may be particularly effective in adolescents. This study, investigating the use of a smartphone app in supporting healthy lifestyle choices,  concludes that using the app has potential to be a more effective method in improving adolescent diet and exercise levels.
