The NuGO Conference

9-12 September 2019, Bern, Switzerland

Maria and Daniela from Food Databanks attended their first NuGO week in Bern, Switzerland 9-12th September.  NuGO http://www.nugo.org/ is Association of Universities and Research Institutes with a focus on the joint development of the research areas of molecular nutrition, personalised nutrition, nutrigenomics and nutritional systems biology.

Daniela presented a poster “A digital solution to enhance consumer trust in personalised nutrition” as part of our work on the Quisper project (website). Our aim is to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with direct access to scientifically validated personalised nutrition data, knowledge, tools and resources via a digital platform that can increase consumer trust and promote changes around food choices. The poster caught the attention of several participants, who were interested in knowing more about the platform.

NuGo week was a great opportunity to network and share knowledge with international scientists from many different scientific backgrounds, covering the most up to date information on many topics related to nutrition and food research.
