30th March 2021 by admin

Members of the FDNC team joined FNS-Cloud colleagues for an online Consortium Meeting from 9th-11th March 2021, marking the end of the first project period. Day 1 included a presentation from guest speaker Professor Karel Luyben, Association President for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Paul Finglas led the Work-Package 5 Demonstrators workshop on Days 2 & 3, which included a presentation from Anton Ellenbroek from the FAO on the Demonstrators being developed within the Blue-Cloud project. The Demonstrators are being designed to showcase the work undertaken in FNS-Cloud, and to test the platform’s tools and services with real users. The workshop sessions provided the opportunity for task leaders to present their Demonstrator plans, with ample time for subsequent discussions across the whole consortium on the collaborative needs and opportunities. You can find out more about the FNS-Cloud project by following this link. The Blue-Cloud project website can be accessed here. Information on EOSC is available via their website.
